The NBA playoffs standings has the Memphis Grizzlies up 3-2 on the Oklahoma City Thunder after another overtime win and the score was 100-99 for the Memphis Grizzlies after Game 5 of the series and now things shift back to Memphis for Game 6 and that will be on Thursday night as the Grizzlies look to win the series 4-2 and now the series is 3-3 after the Thunder won against Memphis and Game 7 will be on Saturday.

The series has been insane and now another game has gone into overtime after the other three and that has made this one of the best series of the playoffs. Russell Westbrook led the way for the Thunder, scoring 23 points and nine rebounds with nine assists with about five minutes left in the fourth quarter and the team came back from a big deficit. Westbrook tied the game at the end of the fourth quarter with a steal and a breakaway dunk and that pulled the two teams even and gave the Grizzlies the ball. The team couldn't get the shot off at the end of regulation and that sent the game into overtime.

The third quarter saw the team storm back against the Grizzlies and the winner of game 5 goes on to win the series over 80 percent of the time and a loss for OKC would give home court advantage away after the big win in Game 4 in Memphis. Durant rebounded after his rough game and Zach Randolph was the leading scorer for the Grizzlies into the fourth, while Marc Gasol had 11 rebounds.

The Memphis Grizzlies and Oklahoma City Thunder played on the NBA playoffs schedule on Tuesday night and the matchup from Chesapeake Energy Arena comes for Game 5 and starts up at 9 pm ET and has Kevin Durant and Zach Randolph looking to give their teams a 3-2 series lead in the west first round and the game is on TV and with a live stream from TNT in OKC.

The Thunder had a terrible game from Kevin Durant the last time out, but they got enough from Reggie Jackson to get things done and now they will be able to try and get the lead back from Memphis after tying it up in the last game. Durant will be relied upon to rebound from his performance in the last game and now the Thunder can rely more on their bench behind Durant and Russell Westbrook and that could be the recipe for OKC. Durant and Westbrook want to get back to the finals and the Miami Heat are looking like they will be there again and OKC is one of the favorites in the conference.

The series has been close on both sides and the Thunder already know that the Grizzlies can win things out, as they lost to the team last year but that was without Westbrook and now him and Durant are looking to get the advantage back in Game 5. The winner of the fifth games in the series wins out over 80 percent of the time and that is what will be motivating the Thunder. Kevin Durant is averaging nearly 30 points in the series and he also is averaging 10 rebounds and he will be relied on to make big shots after being cold in the last game and he had a rough time down the stretch, but Jackson bailed him out.

The biggest game of the night is the LA Clippers and Golden State Warriors and those two teams are also playing Game 5, but there is plenty more going on than just basketball. Donald Sterling was banned for life after what happened over the weekend with his racist remarks and now the Clips can play without that hanging over their heads and while this has been a big distraction and still will be, the players can rest easy that the NBA has their backs. The Grizzlies and Thunder both came out to denounce the comments along with everyone else and now the first round can continue without a decision on the ban hanging over things.
