Jameis Winston Arrested For Shoplifting: Press Conference Live On Schedule For 2 PM As FSU Quarterback Cited For Crab Legs Theft

Apr 30, 2014 12:15 PM EDT

Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston was arrested - wait sorry, the Tallahassee Police made sure to get this out there - he was CITED for the theft of crab legs from the store Publix and now he will pay a fine and do community service after being suspended from the baseball team, showing the vigilance of the TPD when it comes to serious issues, of course except for when the Florida State quarterback avoided getting arrested or charged in a rape earlier in the year.

According to ESPN.com, Winston was cited after being caught stealing and now the adult civil citation has the chance to go off his record if he completes community service. Winston had a great season with 4087 yards and 40 touchdowns with 10 interceptions, which is one reason why the Tallahassee Police did not look into his rape allegations seriously, hoping that they could avoid any issues of hurting the football team.

The Tallahassee Police made sure the media knew it was a citation, as sources told reporters that it was for an "an adult civil citation," a trusted source inside Tallahassee Police told Tomahawk Nation according to SB Nation. Naturally, they did everything they could here to ensure things were investigated properly, because stealing crab legs is much worse than possibly raped someone.
