The NHL playoffs standings in 2014 has the Penguins on the postseason schedule looking for a 3-1 lead against the Blue Jackets, while Tuesday night saw the NY Rangers go up 2-1 against the Philadelphia Flyers and the other games on the docket has the Anaheim Ducks and Dallas Stars at 2-1, along with the St. Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks and that will be at the United Center for Game 4.

The Penguins and the Blue Jackets series has been very hard fought and close, as there has been overtime games and comebacks in nearly every contest, including the last game when Pitt was able to pull ahead late. The Jackets got their first ever franchise playoff win and they have played the number two seed very tough and whoever comes out of that series will be a hard team to face. The Penguins have Sidney Crosby looking to win another Cup and that game will be the first on the schedule and comes on the NBC Sports Network at 7 pm.

The Anaheim Ducks and Dallas Stars are playing in Texas and that Game 4 matchup comes as the Ducks are up 2-1 and that game will be on CNBC and picks up at 8 pm ET. The St. Louis Blues and the Chicago Blackhawks are playing at the United Center on the NBCSN and that well be huge for the Hawks after they were able to win Game 3 while down 2-0. The Blackhawks are the Stanley Cup champions and they are in risk of getting eliminated if they lose tonight and that means Corey Crawford will have to come up big.

The Rangers took it to the Flyers in Philly and won a tough game physically with a 4-1 win and three players finished with two points and Martin St. Louis played very well, while King Henrik ended up with over 30 saves. The Flyers totally out shot and outplayed the Rangers in the second period, but they couldn't get any goals going and the NY penalty kill was fantastic and that could be the key to winning the series.

San Jose won in overtime to take a 3-1 lead over the LA Kings, while the Bruins won for a 2-1 lead over the Red Wings and the Canadiens advanced to the second round with a sweep of the Lightning.
