The women's NCAA basketball national championship schedule starts up on the ESPN TV channel and WatchESPN streaming at 8:30 pm ET Tuesday night and has the UConn Huskies taking on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and both teams are undefeated into the final tournament title game and the winner will be crowned with a perfect record at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Notre Dame coach Muffet McGraw and UConn coach Geno Auriemma have gone back and forth before and now these two rivals will be going at each other on Tuesday night and it comes as the Huskies are 39-0 on the season, while Notre Dame is 37-0 and now the Huskies can win the championship again in the same year as the men, but going up against ND will be tough. UConn won with Kevin Ollie on Monday night against Kentucky and now it will be the ladies turn and this comes as the two teams have no love lost for each other.

The matchup is setting a milestone no matter what happens, as no two teams in men's or women's college basketball, or any other basketball league, has had two undefeated teams meeting for the national championship. It has happened in college football before, but that is different and now these two teams will try and finish with a perfect record to end the season as champions and there are stars on both sides, including with UConn and Breanna Stewart. The Huskies are looking to win 40 games for the first time and the Irish come into the game looking to win the championship for the first time in over a decade.

Stewart and the Huskies have faced the Irish 12 times over the past three seasons and this game will be the one with the most at stake. Breanna Stewart is the star for the Huskies and she comes in after scoring 18 points and grabbing seven rebounds and adding two blocks in the win in the Final Four against Stanford and she will use that performance as motivation heading into the national title game. The Huskies have now won 45 games heading into the championship and this comes after the team won the national title in 2010 as well and now they are looking to add one after Shabazz Napier and the men won on Monday.

This is the fourth time that the men's and women's championships have had the same school in the title game and when that happened back in 2004 for UConn, both the men and women won and that could play out again after Connecticut took the title in North Texas on Monday. The two teams face off starting up at 8:30 pm ET in Tennessee, the home of the Volunteers and women's hoops and UConn will try and finish their undefeated season against the undefeated Irish on ESPN and the WatchESPN website stream.
