The NASCAR season starts up with the Daytona 500 and the race stream is on the radio from the Motor Racing Network and it comes as the TV coverage is on FOX and the Sprint Cup season starts with champion Jimmie Johnson looking to win again and Dale Earnhardt Jr. is hoping to have a nice result on Sunday from the Daytona International Speedway.

Austin Dillon won the pole for the race last week and Danica Patrick took that spot last year to make it two rookies in a row to get the pole for the first Sprint Cup race of the season and Jimmie Johnson and Dale Earnhardt are looking for good performances in the 500 mile race. Chris Evans aka Captain America started the race off as the grand marshal and the steam is coming from the Fox Sports Go website. Dillon is bringing back the number three car with the permission of the fam and comes after the legend died there in 2001 and he finished ahead of Martin Truex Jr and the two racers that finished in the Duels were Matt Kenseth and Denny Hamlin.

Regan Smith won the Nationwide race on Saturday after the controversial race last year that saw a big crash and he finished ahead of Brad Keselowski and Trevor Bayne was next ahead of Kyle Busch. Danica Patrick won the pole last season and finished in eighth and this year she had to start in the back row since she had her engine issues and this came after she won the pole last time around and this comes as her and Tony Stewart and Richard Petty have been going back and forth in the media.
