The NBA All Star Game skills challenge is coming live on Saturday night and the TNT event kicks off at 8:30 pm ET and the competitions will be streaming from New Orleans before the 63rd All-Star Game and the events include the Sears Shooting Stars event, Taco Bell Skills Challenge Foot Locker Three-Point contest and the Sprite Slam Dunk contest.

The skills competition is always one of the best of the All-Star weekend and this year Damian Lillard will be one of the stars and he is the busiest player of the weekend, as he played in the rising stars game on Friday and now will be in the skills challenge where he won last season and he also is in the dunk contest and three point shootout and he will be the first player to compete in all of those before and adding to that he is playing in the actual All-Star game coming up on Sunday.

Lillard won the rookie of the year last season and he headlines all the events and this year they have some big names, including the dunk contest. The dunk contest has three All-Star players with Paul George, John Wall and Lillard and the Blazers star will be in the three point contest as well and he plays against the champion in Kyrie Irving along with Joe Johnson, Kevin Love, Stephen Curry as well as Bradley Beal, Marco Belinelli and Arron Afflalo and that makes it a very stacked field for this year.

The format for the event will be an east west deal like last year and Lillard comes in with Trey Burke as his skills challenge partner and that set will be a team relay this time around and the dunk contest will be the top event like always. The dunk contest has Terrence Ross, Harrison Barnes as well as Ben McLeMore, George, Wall and Lillard and is expected to be one of the best in years. The All-Star games has a number of big names and while Kobe Bryant will be out, LeBron James and Kevin Durant lead the way for the east and west stars.
