Super Bowl media day has morphed into an event all its own for the NFL and now the Seattle Seahawks and the Denver Broncos will take part and the event will be from the Prudential Center in Newark right near MetLife Stadium where SB XLVIII will be played and players like Peyton Manning, Richard Sherman, Russell Wilson and Wes Welker will take center stage for the web, TV, radio and print media and it will be streaming live from NFL.com Tuesday and the Hawks start up at 12:45 pm ET.

The Super Bowl is not lacking for story lines this season, as the Seahawks and Broncos are considered the two best teams in the league, with Denver first in offense and Seattle ranked best in the NFL in defense and Manning going for his second title is a massive story as well, especially since he has the chance to be the first quarterback ever to win championships with two different franchises.

This year the New York and New Jersey Super Bowl has changed up the media day with the hotels for the players being in Jersey and the media in NYC and now both will travel to Newark for the Prudential Center as host to the media day celebration. The gauntlet has hundreds of news outlets from around the world covering the game along with usual beat and NFL reporters and that makes for some interesting questions and often times some controversy. Last year Chris Culliver stirred some things up with his comments on homosexuals and this year the media will try to hound Richard Sherman, but he is way too smart for that and he has shown that he is a thoughtful individual and he should be one of the best to speak with at the media day coverage.

Russell Wilson is one of the most interesting players of the bunch and he was nearly drafted by the Broncos a couple years ago before the Seahawks snagged him and now he is facing off against Peyton Manning at the Super Bowl. Wilson had another solid season and while he doesn't put up numbers like Manning, he really doesn't need to and he is a class act and will be getting plenty of attention from reporters as well. Manning comes in looking to win a second Super Bowl and Pete Carroll has the chance to do it in the shadow of his former team in the NY Jets, who he coached many years ago.

The Seahawks have a number of colorful characters including Michael Robinson, Percy Harvin and Marshawn Lynch and those players are expected to get plenty of attention once the reporters hunker down and that could make for some great sound bites. Both teams have played at MetLife already this season against the NY Giants and both teams won those games and now they have the chance to win the championship and for Peyton it would do it in his brother Eli's Stadium. Welcome to media day.
