New York Giants vs. Detroit Lions Live Stream: Watch Online NFL Game Streaming Sunday NFC Matchup

Dec 22, 2013 03:43 PM EST

The New York Giants have had a terrible season in 2013 after losing their first six games and now after being shut out for the second time this season the team travels to play the Detroit Lions at Ford Field and that game will be on FOX at 4:05 PM and streaming online from the NFL.com main website.

The game is crucial for the Lions, as they could get eliminated from the division race depending on how the rest of the schedule plays out, as the Packers and Bears kick off later than the Lions and this game is crucial after the team lost last week to the Ravens on Monday night football and that was a huge loss for the team. Detroit was in control of the NFC North for quite some time and now they could be out of things by the end of the day and they come in with some great offensive talent and they couldn't get it done last week after some major mistakes. The Giants will have to find a way to control Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson in the offense and Reggie Bush seems like he will have a big day, as the Giants defense has been terrible this season, especially in games against tough offensive teams and the Lions have thier final game against the Minnesota Vikings.

Check here for the Giants and Lions Live coverage.

The Lions are ranked fourth in the league in rushing yards allowed per game and that is one area where the Giants have struggled all season and the team has not been good on defense against the pass and with Detroit ranking third in the league with nearly 300 yards per game, the G-Men could be in for a long day on both sides of the ball. The Giants come in after a terrible game against the Seahawks and they will be looking to just end things on a positive note after a hard year and they could be playing for Tom Coughlin's job and the team plays against the Redskins in Week 17 of the season in MetLife Stadium and that will be an all pride game as well and now Eli Manning has the chance to try and have a positive game after some very tough struggles.

The Giants come in doing nothing particularly well and they are ranked 19th in passing yards per game this season and 28th in rushing yards per game and the team is 12th in passing yards allowed and 13th in rushing yards allowed and with Victor Cruz out for the rest of the season the team needs other players to step up on Sunday. The Giants started the season with six straight losses to open up 0-6 and then the team won four of the next five, but they lost the one game they couldn't afford to lose with the Dallas Cowboys game and now they have the chance to play a bit of a spoiler and it comes after a terrible performance against the Seattle Seahawks.
