Seattle Seahawks TV Schedule: Start Time and Channel For Arizona Cardinals Game Sunday Week 16

Dec 22, 2013 02:19 PM EST

The Seattle Seahawks are looking like Super Bowl favorites in the NFC and they can lock things up for good in the division and with the number one seed in the conference in the playoffs and on Sunday they play against the Arizona Cardinals, who are right in the playoff mix and the Seahawks have a huge advantage with the game at CenturyLink Field and the matchup starts on FOX at 4:05 pm.

The Seahawks have been fantastic on defense and they are ranked second in the league in rushing with Marshawn Lynch and the team is ranked first in the league in passing yards allowed per game and now they have the chance to get things done again on Sunday. The team was dominant against the terrible New York Giants last week and pitched a shutout and now the team potentially could be home for over a month with the playoffs coming, as they have the game against the Cardinals at home before another home game against the St. Louis Rams in Week 17 and then they should have a bye as the top team in the NFC and then a home playoff game, keeping the team in the Pacific Northwest for quite some time.

The Seahawks have been fantastic this season and they have lost just twice and they have been nearly unbeatable at home and since Russell Wilson has taken over they haven't there and that makes the team the top favorite heading into the playoffs and they are the toughest team to match up with after putting together such a great year. The team has only lost once since falling to the Colts back in October and that was a last second loss to the 49ers. The Cardinals have surprised everyone this season with their play and they finish with tough games against the Seahawks and the 49ers and on Sunday they need to win to stay in the mix and they have clinched a winning season.

The Seahawks are dealing with some issues in the secondary heading into the game against the Arizona Cardinals and they are without Brandon Browner and that didn't stop the team from shutting out the Giants last week on Sunday. Here is more on the Browner issues from Reuters.com last week. Seattle Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner has been suspended indefinitely for violating the National Football League's substance abuse policy, the NFL said on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old's suspension begins immediately, the league said in a statement.

According to a league source, Browner turned down a deal that would have "significantly reduced" his initial one-year suspension, NFL.com reported.

A Pro Bowl selection in 2011, Browner had argued that he missed drug tests while not competing in the NFL, though that appeal was denied because the league had notified him of those tests in writing.

Browner was also suspended for four games last season for violating the league's performance-enhancing drugs policy.

Browner, who signed with the Seahawks and started every game of the 2011 season, had played eight games during this campaign. Browner is now out and the Seahawks defense is next man up. (Reuters)
