UEFA Champions League Group Tables: Final Standings For Round of 16 Knockout Phase For UCL 2013-2014 Season

The UEFA Champions League schedule is finally done for 2013 and now the knockout phase is coming with the round of 16 and a number of teams had already punched their ticket when the Wednesday schedule came about and now teams like Manchester United, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Manchester City and Barcelona as well as Arsenal are through.

Manchester United finished out their Group A play with a win over Shakhtar Donetsk on Tuesday to eliminate them and it was a 1-0 victory with a goal from Phil Jones, while Real Madrid punctuated their Group B finish with a 2-0 win with goals from Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo on Tuesday as well. After the final day of play, Arsenal and Napoli are tied with Borussia Dortmund with 12 points and that came after a Napoli win against the Gunners 2-0 after goals from Gonzalo Higuaín and José Maria Callejón. The Group F set was one of the best in the UCL and now two of those teams will advance to the knockouts.

AC Milan and Ajax ended in a tie on Wednesday for a draw, while Neymar had a hat trick for Barcelona as they trounced Celtic and Atletico Madrid pulled away in their Group G set with 16 points total. Ac finished just ahead of Ajax and behind Barcelona in their Group H table set and now Barcelona goes ahead as the top team from that group of clubs. Chelsea finished on top of Schalke in Group E after winning 1-0 over Steaua Bucuresti and the only goal of that match was from Demba Ba 10 minutes into it. Bayern Munich and Manchester City played it tough the whole schedule and now they come in at the top of Group D, while Paris Saint-Germain was tops in Group C over Olympiakos and Benfica, who finished tied with 10 points.   

Real Madrid easily took their group over Galatasaray and they finished just ahead of Juventus after winning their delayed match 1-0 on Wednesday after it was pushed due to the snow on Tuesday. Man U and Bayer Leverkusen finished atop Group A and they are looking better now heading into the next phase and some of the other results on Tuesday and Wednesday included wins for Manchester City over Bayern as well as Olympiakos winning and PSG fell to Benfica.
