Champions League Group Tables and Standings: UEFA Has Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain In Lead

The UEFA Champions League schedule picks up again on Tuesday and Wednesday and there will be a number of group table leaders in action on the first day, with Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain all playing matches and some need good performances and results more than others.

Manchester United is leading Group A and while they are already into the knockout round, they would like to be the top team in the group and as they play second place team Shakhtar Donetsk round at Old Trafford, they need at least a point to get it done and they currently have a three point advantage on the table. Some of the other matches include Real Sociedad playing against Bayer Leverkusen in the other Group A match at Estadio Anoeta, while Group B is also in action with Real Madrid playing against FC Copenhagen at the Parkstadion.

The second Group B match has Juventus visiting Türk Telekom Arena to play Galatasaray, while Group C has leaders Paris Saint-Germain visiting the Estadio da Luz to take on Benfica. Anderlecht and Olympiakos are playing in Group C at Karaiskaki Stadium, while Manchester City vsits Bayern Munich in the Group D match at Allianz Arena and the last match of the day is CSKA Moscow     and Viktoria Plzen at Struncovy Sady Stadion.

The schedule on Wednesday has some great matchups as well, including Chelsea taking on Steaua Bucuresti at Stamford Bridge, while FC Basel and Schalke will also be playing. Napoli and Arsenal are in action and one of the top matches is in Group H with Barcelona and Celtic going at it and Borussia Dortmund and Marseille are also in action.

Manchester United is tops in Group A over Shakhtar with a three point lead at 11 points, while Real Madrid has easily won and is through with 13 points and they have yet to lose in five matches in Champions League play this season and they are 4-1-0 so far in their league matches. Group C has PSG at the top with 13 points over Olympiakos with a 13 to seven lead, while Group D has a tight race going with Bayern Munich over Manchester City and those two teams will be going at it on Tuesday and that is a big match, as they have a 15 to 12 lead.

Group E has Chelsea in the lead over Basel, while Arsenal has been playing well in all leagues and they lead Group F over Borussia by three points. Group G has Atletico Madrid, while the H group has Barcelona over AC Milan.
