The final BCS rankings and the bowl schedule is revealed on Sunday night on ESPN and the national championship will be the Florida State Seminoles and the Auburn Tigers after the Ohio State Buckeyes lost on Saturday and now Clemson, Stanford, Michigan State, Alabama and Oklahoma are in games with the Rose Bowl, Orange, Fiesta and Sugar Bowl games.
Oregon finished 10th in the standings with South Carolina, Missouri, Ohio State, Baylor, Stanford, Michigan State and Alabama, with Auburn and Florida State at the top two spots and now the team will play for the national championship after going undefeated and winning the ACC title game. Jameis Winston will get the Heisman most likely and then he will play against Auburn and this year one could argue that the BCS system worked this season and the VIZIO BCS National Championship game has Florida State and Auburn and the Tigers are a miracle team, as they beat Georgia and Alabama in amazing fashion before winning over Missouri in the SEC championship game.
Florida State will be the favorite, but with the way Auburn runs the ball it's going to be a toss up and it comes on year after the Tigers did not win an SEC game last season. Those teams playing in the championship means the SEC can win for the eighth straight season and with Alabama clinching a BCS bid, they will play against Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl and that's a game the team knows well and while it's not the championship, Auburn getting into the title game opened the door for them. Oklahoma won over Oklahoma State to end their chances and to give Baylor a spot in the BCS as the Big 12 champion and now the Bears will play in the Fiesta Bowl against UCF, who is coming out of the American Athletic Conference.
The Rose Bowl game gets a traditional championship in the Michigan State Spartans and the Stanford Cardinal and this matchup is a huge game for both sides. The Spartans took down the Buckeyes and Arizona State could get an at-large selection and with the Crimson Tide playing against the Sooners, while many feel that Oregon should get the chance to play them, and it's official with Baylor and UCF with both teams making their BCS debuts in the final year of the system. The Rose Bowl was no surprise and is a classic matchup that has tough defenses and the Cardinal are making their fourth straight appearance in the BCS and that will be a great game. Clemson and Ohio State have the Orange Bowl and that game happens with Florida State going into the national championship for the ACC and that could be one of the best matchups.
