Dec 03, 2013 06:46 PM EST

The Indiana Hoosiers and the Syracuse Orange are two of the most successful men's college basketball teams in the sport and on Tuesday night the two programs will meet up at the Carrier Dome for an ESPN college basketball game starting up at 7:15 pm and the game can be watched on TV and will stream online from the WatchESPN website.

Syracuse comes into the game after a nice win against the Baylor Bears on Wednesday and the team got 24 points from CJ Fair and now they will play against the 6-1 Hoosiers before playing against Binghamton at home at the Carrier Dome. The Orange come into the game shooting better than 45 percent and scoring over 75 points per game and they have now won seven games in a row to start the season and they will play their second ranked team in the Villanova Wildcats after previously playing against Baylor. Last year the Hoosiers lost in the NCAA Tournament to Syracuse and now the team will get a chance at revenge in the regular season and it comes after the Orange won the Maui Invitational to start the year, taking down the Bears in the title game and Fair was named MVP of the tourney.

The two teams played last year in the round of 16 and now the number four ranked Syracuse Orange will be coming in as the favorite after the Hoosiers were higher ranked in the tourney last season. Fair had 11 points in that game back in March and now the two teams will get another look at each other and this time around the Hoosiers have a number of players gone as they try and get back into things in the Big Ten. Syracuse is tough to beat against unranked opponents at home, as the AP reports they haven't lost in 37 tries under those circumstances and Indiana comes in after a big win over Evansville. That victory came after the first loss of the season for Indiana, as they lost to then number 18 UConn in a sight matchup by one point.

The Hoosiers next will play against North Florida and then the schedule starts to pick up for the team, as they play against Notre Dame and then Illinois at the end of the month as Big Ten play starts up. The team has a huge matchup with number one Michigan State looming in early January and after that there are more ranked teams in Wisconsin, Michigan as well as Ohio State. The team ends the season with games on the road against Wisconsin and Michigan, while they will host the Buckeyes and Nebraska and that should make things tough for the Hoosiers.

Syracuse has a tough conference in the ACC with the Duke Blue Devils and the North Carolina Tar Heels and the team ends the season with a game against Florida State. The matchup on Tuesday night has Syracuse hosting Indiana at the Carrier Dome and the game will be on ESPN.
