The NFL schedule is moving into Thanksgiving for Week 13 and as injuries pile up, teams are making moves with free agent players and while someone like Michael Turner has not had much interest from anyone, Leon Washington has signed with the Tennessee Titans after being released by the New England Patriots.

According to Pro Football Talk, Washington comes to the Titans after playing in just two games with the Patriots after dealing with an ankle injury and with a number of running backs already on the roster, he never had much of a chance anyway. Washington is a very good kick returner and he had eight scores while playing with the Pats and Seahawks and that is one reason why the team wants to sign him, as they cut their main returner last month after a fumble in a game and the team has had multiple mistakes on special teams and turnovers and they are hoping that Washington can help stabilize that.

The Titans are on the cusp of the playoffs and the team released Devon Wylie after losing a fumble on a kickoff and he could be the jolt that the team needs. Turner has been a free agent since his release from the Atlanta Falcons and he has not had much of a sniff from anyone all offseason.
