Michael Crabtree Fantasy Week 10: Nate Burleson and San Francisco 49ers WR Top ESPN Football Adds After Injuries

The NFL schedule is now into Week 10 and that means the fantasy football season is getting closer to the playoffs and with owners dealing with injuries and tough matchups, some of the top WR options to add includes two players coming back from injuries in Michael Crabtree and Nate Burleson.

Crabtree is the top option among the two receivers, as he will be the primary option for the 49ers once he comes back as long as he can stay healthy, as he has not played this season after tearing his Achilles in the spring. Crabtree was fantastic last season with over 80 catches and 1,000 yards as San Francisco made it to the Super Bowl and now he returns just when the team needs it. The 49ers are getting back Mario Manningham as well and having Crabtree in the offense will greatly help Colin Kaepernick and the play of the unit, including Anquan Boldin.

After breaking out with 13 catches to start the season, Boldin has not done much production wise and having two more receivers in the fold should open things up for a team that ranks last in the league in passing yards per game. Crabtree will likely not play in Week 10 or even Week 11, but he is a player to add since he will be coming back soon, as will Burleson after he broke his arm, as he was having a nice season before that.

According to ESPN.com, Crabtree could be added to the roster soon and it should be a big help for the 49ers, who trail the Seahawks in the division despite winning their past five games for a 6-2 record. The Niners are looking forward to having all three of their top receivers on the field at the same time, as Manningham was activated and could play this weekend. Crabtree was the top receiver for the team last season and according to ESPN.com, he has looked good while working out and the team is optimistic about his return.

Burleson was back at practice and he could be back on the field soon, possibly on Sunday when the team takes on the Chicago Bears. Burlesonwas very solid to start the season alongside Calvin Johnson for Matthew Stafford, as he had nearly 20 catches for over 230 yards in the first three games of the season and when he returns he could be very productive down the stretch for fantasy owners. The Lions have one of the most pass focused offenses in the league and that bodes well for Burleson in his comeback and with the team ranked second and playing some teams coming up with weak secondary's, it could be even better for the WR.

The 49ers have the bottom ranked passing offense in the league and they are averaging less than 200 yards per game. While the team is ranked first in rushing yards per game, they need to get the passing attack going and adding back Crabtree along with Manningham should give Boldin and Kaepernick many more opportunities to do so.
