The fantasy football season is now into the second half and that means playoff time for fantasy owners and for Week 10 on the schedule, there are a number of players that are banged up and that means replacements and additions are needed and top pickups for names like Doug Martin, Arian Foster, Darren Sproles and Giovani Bernard heading down the stretch includes Shonn Green and Joique Bell

Those two free agent additions aren't going to put up numbers like those other players most likely, but it could be a good option for teams scrambling for some replacements, as Martin and Foster could be banged up for a bit. Mike James is a good pickup for Martin, but he likely is gone in most leagues already. Martin injured his shoulder in the game back against the Atlanta Falcons and since then it has been all Mike James for the Buccaneers. Martin had a fantastic season as a rookie last year and while he has not been as productive before getting hurt, his numbers have not matched what he did last season.

Martin was injured against the Falcons on the road after having 11 carries for 27 yards and while he didn't rush for over 100 yards in five weeks, he was still solid with at least 45 yards in each of those games. Martin's shoulder injury was first thought to be season ending, but that turned out to not be the case and while he is out, so far a return date for him has not been set, although reports say that he could return as soon as Monday night Football against the Miami Dolphins this week. Martin is an "in play" option according to ESPN.com, but if you are a cautious fantasy owner, a backup plan could be in order for him and that is why adding one of those players could be a big help.

Arian Foster owners have been some of the most frustrated in fantasy this season and one reason has been due to injuries and after dealing with a hamstring injury leading into Sunday night football, he ended up leaving with a back injury, putting Ben Tate into the game. Foster has been one of the most productive backs in football over the past few years and this season he has been hampered by the injuries and now he will have the chance to heal up. Fantasy owners should look for some replacements and Greene and Bell could be options after Foster rushed for a combined 11 yards in the past two weeks, including zero on Sunday night.

Sproles is a player that owners need to keep an eye on as well, as he left the game against the New York Jets on Sunday with a concussion and that could be bad news for the pass catching back. Bell is a solid option because he also does that and after making just one catch and putting up no carries on Sunday, Sproles left the game. Giovani Bernard has been playing very well and getting someone in for him could help owners as well.
