The A.L. Championship Series has arrived, though the games have yet to start. If you're still looking for the Detroit Tigers and Boston Red Sox on TBS or the MLB Network, you are searching in the wrong channels. Find out where to watch the 2013 ALCS as a new broadcast crew takes over the action.

ALCS TV Channel: FOX

MLB will have their championship games in local networks as the ALCS will be aired by FOX. This should be Tim McCarver's last year in the booth as Joe Buck will continue calling games for FOX in the future.

The Red Sox and Tigers are the last two remaining teams in the American League. While the Tigers were favorites to finish atop the A.L., the Red Sox have been a surprise to many. This team lost more than 90 games last season and after a couple of additions and subtractions from their staff and roster, the Red Sox are now placing themselves in World Series conversations.

The Red Sox finished with the best record in baseball. They went 97-65 in 2013, while the dynamic Tigers' offense only finished with a 93-69 record in 2013. Boston became accustomed to watching role players do the right things, providing big hits in key situations as Shane Victorino, Jonny Gomes and Mike Napoli played scrappy baseball all season long. No more superstar attractions getting paid big bucks. There was no pressure in Boston and, apparently, that led to success.

The Tigers, on the other hand, lost the World Series in 2012 after getting swept by the San Francisco Giants. They would love to wind up in the World Series again as they look to capture a title. There is no reason why this team should struggle offensively as they have some of the game's best hitters: Prince Fielder, Miguel Cabrera, Victor Martinez and Torii Hunter, who can still handle the bat.

The Tigers' pitching is headed by Max Scherzer with Justin Verlander as their No. 2 and Anibal Sanchez as their No.3. All three guys are lights out and all of them can help the Tigers win a World Series in 2013.

Will the Tigers stand in the Red Sox's way in 2013? The action starts on Saturday as the Red Sox and Tigers hook up in a seven-game series.
