Watch the 2013 N.L. Wild Card Game online as the Cincinnati Reds face the Pittsburgh Pirates at 8 p.m. ET. The 2013 MLB Playoffs were monopolized by the N.L. Central as the Reds, Pirates and St. Louis Cardinals will all play at least one game in the postseason. Check out the first matchup as the Reds and Pirates settle the score in the one true game available. Before the live stream, check out the matchups and history building up to this one-game playoff.

In the beginning of the 2013 season, the Pirates commanded the series, sweeping the first three games against the Reds. It was a sign of what was to come in the Pirates'. However, the Reds reached their midseason form in June, winning two of three behind dominant pitching. In mid-June, the Pirates and Reds met in a four-game series at the Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. All four games were close and both teams split that series, winning two games a piece.

With the series 6-4, in the Pirates' favor, the Reds bounced back in late July, winning two of three in another series that saw close ball games decided by a total of four runs. The two did not see each other for another two months, setting up a dramatic month of September.

The Reds and Pirates saw each other seven times within 10 days. Cincinnati was ready to make its move past the Pirates in the N.L. Central standings, winning two of three in their penultimate series. However, the Bucs bounced back in wicked fashion in the last series of the season, winning all three games and locking up the second spot in the division.

Now, rightfully so, the Pirates host the 2013 N.L. Wild Card Game. Not only did they make the playoffs, but their home crowd will have a chance to watch October baseball for the first time in PNC Park and in over two decades. The rest of the Pirates' season rests on the left arm of Francisco Liriano, who has yet to beat the Reds in 2013. Cincinnati will send Johnny Cueto, their ace who should be fresh, to the mound.
