The Atlanta Braves close up the series with the Milwaukee Brewers as both teams hook up for the rubber game of this series. Want to watch your Braves online for free? Check out the live stream available as Atlanta tries to remain the best in the N.L.

Every game counts down the stretch even though the Braves already clinched the N.L. East division. The St. Louis Cardinals are on the Braves' chops, trailing by only half a game in the fight for home field advantage through the NLCS. The Cardinals are beating up the Washington Nationals, so that means the Braves will have to get a win if they want to remain ahead.

It's a battle of veterans as Paul Maholm and Kyle Lohse take the hill in Turner Field. Both guys come into the game with similar records after going 10-10 in 2013. For Maholm, it's his last start to fine-tune before his playoff start next week. Who will the Braves play? It's not quite clear yet. However, Maholm will try to finish the season over .500 for the second time in his career as he aims for his first win since the beginning of the month.

In his last start, Maholm faced his former team, the Chicago Cubs, getting the no-decision after going 5.1 innings, allowing four earned runs on eight hits while striking out two. Maholm defeated the Brewers back in June, though he struggled a bit, giving up four earned runs in five innings pitched.

Lohse will try to hand the Braves another loss in the fall. Last year, he was the guy on the mound for the Cardinals in the N.L. Wild Card Game. He has not faced the braves yet and will be looking to dominate Atlanta once again at Turner Field. Lohse is trying to bounce back from a loss against the Cubs where he went five innings, allowing three earned runs on seven hits, a walk and he struckout five.

Last night, the Braves walked out victorious thanks to a walk-off single provided by the red hot Andrelton Simmons. This is key for the Braves as the young shortstop could prove productive on both sides of the ball. Simmons drove in Justin Upton for the game-winning run as the Braves beat the Brewers 3-2.
