The fantasy football week has already started up with the Eagles and Chiefs playing on Thursday night in Philadelphia and heading into Sunday, my Yahoo Sports fantasy team is trying to rebound from an o-2 start despite having some solid players and ones to watch this week includes Mike Wallace, Aaron Rodgers, Josh Gordon, Kendall Wright, Vernon Davis, Trent Richardson, Daryl Richardson and Giovani Bernard.

Fantasy can be a tough nut to crack at times and this week there are plenty of interesting matchups to check out, including the Packers and Bengals, which has the potential to be one of the most exciting games of the week. Both teams have a number of players on offense that could have big games on Sunday, including Aaron Rodgers, who passed for nearly 500 yards against the Redskins last week and sent the team into halftime with a 24-0 deficit. Rodgers had four touchdowns in the game and that could mean more production this week.

Giovani Bernard is an excellent sleeper and start option heading forward for the rest of the season, as the Bengals have liked his development and he should continue getting touches as the schedule wears on. Last week against the Steelers Bernard ended up with two touchdowns after scoring on a 27-yard reception and he also made it into the end zone on a rushing attempt and he finished the game with eight carries for 38 yards.

Bernard started off slow in the first game against the Bears to open the year, but as a rookie not much was expected of him and he has already doubles his touches since week 1. Against the Bears he had 22 yards on just four carries, but he showed some quickness and averaged over five yards per carry in that game and also added a reception for eight yards. Bernard is a valuable player in PPR after making over 40 catches in each of his two seasons as North Carolina and he ended up with a nice 27 yard reception against the Steelers that went along with his rushing TD and 38 yards on the ground. The Packers defense gave up some yards last week against the Redskins, but that was more about the team coming back rather than the defense, but Bernard still could produce.

Vernon Davis was nicked up last week, but the tight end has already said repeatedly that any issue with his hamstring should not be a concern and that he will be ready to play for the 49ers when Andrew Luck and the Colts come to town. Luck will be playing against his old football coach from his days back when he was at Stanford and this will be the first time that the two face off in the NFL since Luck was drafted and since Harbaugh was hired. Davis has been slow to start the season, but with two touchdowns in Week 1 and a weak Indy line backing corps, this could be a nice game if he is healthy.

Some other players to keep an eye on include Mike Wallace, Trent Richardson, Daryl Richardson and Jordan Cameron, as he is one of the only playmakers left for the Browns. Richardson should get some nice carries with the Colts and Daryl could have a nice game this week as well.
