Michigan Stadium is seen before the start of the NCAA college football game between University of Michigan and Notre Dame in Ann Arbor, Michigan September 7. The two teams are playing in Ann Arbor for the last time for the foreseeable future with the Irish playing an ACC schedule."

There has been plenty of talk this week about the rivalry between Michigan and Notre Dame and while many see it as a traditional rivalry, the meetings between the two schools will not be going on too much in the future after this matchup on Saturday, making it a very anticipated game and one that both coaches in Brady Hoke and Brian Kelly want to win and it will be at the Big House in Ann Arbor at 8 pm.

Notre Dame and Michigan are both ranked in the top 20 and it is one of the only matchups between top teams in week 2 and puts two schools that are 1-0 this season against each other and after the Irish decided to play part of an ACC schedule, the school decided to cut out the remaining games after 2014, meaning that this could be the last time that the Irish visit Michigan for many years and after playing each year since 2002, it could be awhile before it happens in Ann Arbor again.

The Wolverines are ranked 17th in the nation under Hoke and after taking over from Rich Rodriguez he has brought the school back to some national prominence and now they have the chance to knock off a team that went to the national championship last season. Notre Dame got demolished by Alabama and now Kelly has the team looking for a big win in Michigan, which is one of the toughest places to play. Last season the Irish won 13-6 at home against the Wolverines and played great defense, making six turnovers and the Wolverines are coming in with a three-game winning streak at the Big House in the series and they will look to extend it to four on Saturday night.

Two years ago College GameDay came to Michigan for the game in Week 2 as well and saw a thriller that Michigan won behind Denard Robinson and the Irish are coming into this game after winning easily over Temple 28-6 and looked great on offense with over 500 yards and Tommy Rees is coming in as the starting quarterback for the Irish and he already has some experience in a game against the Wolverines, as he played in that game in 2011 that saw the team lose in thrilling fashion. Rees passed for 315 yards that game and three touchdowns and now he comes in with some solid experience and a good chance to win in the Big House.

Michigan has quarterback Devin Gardner to take over for Robinson and he comes in after 162 passing yards and one touchdown and he is going up against a defense that ranks 13th in the nation in points against and the team has looked great on offense so far. The Irish will play against Purdue next and then has Michigan State and Oklahoma on the schedule and then they play Arizona State, USC and Air Force. Navy is also on the schedule and then against BYU and then on the road against Stanford, looked at as one of the best teams in the nation.

Michigan has a very tough schedule as well with UConn, Michigan State and Nebraska and the team also has Northwestern and Iowa before playing at home against Ohio State. The team looked great in its first game and now they have a tough test against the Irish.
