ESPN College GameDay crew gets ready for the Clemson Georgia game in South Carolina, returning to Death Valley for the first time in seven years."

The college football season officially started up on Thursday with South Carolina defeating North Carolina on ESPN and that means that this Saturday the network will have their debut show of the season for College GameDay, taking Chris Fowler, Desmond Howard, Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit to Clemson for their game in the evening against number five Georgia.

The show is returning to Clemson for the first time in seven years and the matchup is one of the best of the first week of the season, as it is the only matchup between two top 10 teams in the whole top 25, although some other top 25 teams are playing in LSU and TCU, but they are both in the top 20. Student had to wait crazy hours in line to get tickets and now the game is here and it will be going down at 8 PM on ABC on Saturday night.

The crew on GameDay will look at all the top games on Saturday in the morning and that will lead up to the anticipated game on Saturday night that will feature two Heisman candidates in Aaron Murray on the Bulldogs and Tajh Boyd from Clemson, two players that could put up huge numbers this season. The crew will be in Death Valley in Clemson for what is the first four hour broadcast of the studio show on the network and is comes after Clemson had GameDay come back in 2006.

The Tigers went 11-2 last season and surprised many with how well they played and Boyd was one of the main reasons for that. Last season he passed for over 3,800 yards and he will be the main offensive threat, as the Tigers lost both Andre Ellington and DeAndre Hopkins, as both were drafted into the NFL in April during the draft. Ellington is now with the Arizona Cardinals, while Hopkins was drafted by the Houston Texans as a compliment to Andre Johnson.

Clemson has high expectations and for either the Tigers or Georgia, the start of the season will be a disappointment, but if the Tigers lose, at least they have an easy game the next week against South Carolina State. Clemson next will play a road game against NC State and then will be home against Wake Forest before hitting the road again against Syracuse. Boston College and number 11 Florida State are next on the schedule, while road games against Maryland and Virginia come after that. The team finished the season with a road game against South Carolina and that could be huge for both teams.

Georgia opens the season with Clemson before playing number six South Carolina at home in a game that will be on ESPN and then after an easy game the team will host LSU, which should be one of the best games of the season. The Bulldogs will next play at Tennessee and then will host Mizzou before playing Vandy and then another very anticipated matchup will be coming as the team hosts Florida. Georgia will then finish against App State, Auburn, Kentucky and Georgia Tech.
