San Antonio Spurs power forward Tim Duncan (21) and Miami Heat shooting guard Mike Miller (13) reach for a rebound during Game 6 of their NBA Finals basketball playoff."

Since being waived by the Miami Heat last week, free agent forward Mike Miller has become one of the most attractive free agents to remain, and has garnered his fair share of attention from many suitors looking to sign the two-time NBA champion.

Sources told ESPN.com that the Denver Nuggets are now growing strong consideration from Miller along with teams like the Oklahoma City Thunder and Memphis Grizzlies:

The Nuggets have joined the hunt with the promise of minutes at the forward position after losing key performers Andre Iguodala and Corey Brewer in free agency.

Miller, according to sources, met face-to-face Friday with new Grizzlies owner Robert Pera and CEO Jason Levien after an earlier sitdown with Thunder general manager Sam Presti. Sources said that Thunder All-Star Kevin Durant and Grizzlies All-Star Marc Gasol have both taken an active role in recruiting Miller, who has received interest from a number of contenders after being released earlier this week by the Miami Heat via the amnesty provision.

The Houston Rockets, sources said, have also made Miller an offer that the 33-year-old is considering.

Miller, who has been a playoff hero for the Heat in their two championship runs, was plagued with numerous injuries. Since joining the Heat he underwent four surgeries to his thumbs, shoulder and to repair a sports hernia.

However, the 2012-13 season was by far the healthiest he has been, and he played in 59 games but averaged career lows in points (4.8) and minutes (15.3). He played in all seven games in the Finals, starting the last four, and averaged 5.3 points and shot a remarkable 61 percent on 3-pointers.

Earlier this week, Miller said he was feeling healthy and looking forward to next season, telling the South Florida Sun-Sentinel: "I'm excited about the next spot. I'm re-energized. I really am. I'm just feeling healthy. I'm ready to play. I started to get back in [the gym] again last week and I can't wait to play again next year."
