Rafa Benitez did not waste too much time finding a new club after his short stint with Chelsea, with Italian side Napoli naming the Spaniard their new manager.
Benitez, who did quite well at Chelsea despite severe backlash from the club's own fans, replaces Walter Mazzarri, who signed for Inter Milan.
"I am very happy and very satisfied for having committed to a great club with an illustrious heritage like Napoli," Benitez said on his official website.
"I understand the history of the city and how the club forms a fundamental part of the culture and traditions of Naples.
"I must confess that I am extremely excited because I can share my passion for football with the fans of Napoli. It is proven that they are very, very special.
"I look forward to experiencing each and every one of the fans of Napoli and their strong support for this project that we will begin. I'm happy to become a member of that great family of Naples and thus we can share the triumphs together.
"We will begin from the start as we mean to go on and we will fight from the beginning to achieve success for the fans of SSC Napoli."
Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis first confirmed the appointment on his Twitter account, along with a picture of him shaking hands with Benitez.
The club later also confirmed Benitez would be their new manager. "Rafa Benitez is the new coach of Napoli," Napoli said in a statement on their official website. "The agreement was signed today (Monday) in London.
"SSC Napoli is happy to welcome a coach so prestigious into their own family. A welcome also to his collaborators."
Benitez always said he wanted his new club to be one that is involved in the Champions League. Napoli did well under Mazzarri last season to finish second in Serie A, but plenty of challenges lie in wait for the former Liverpool boss.
The chief one being keeping talisman Edinson Cavani in Naples. The Uruguayan has been linked with a move away from Italy with the likes of Manchester City, Real Madrid and Benitez's former club Chelsea showing an interest.
If Benitez can indeed convince Cavani to stay, and then bring in a couple more quality signings, Napoli could seriously challenge for the Serie A title next season and knock Juventus off their perch, while being a dangerous side in the Champions League.
