Recent reports and several new mock draft seem to think that the Tennessee Titans will draft Joey Bosa number 1 overall.

Bosa would be an absolute force to add to this dominant defensive line. The combination of Jurrell Casey, Derrick Morgan, Brian Orakpo, and Joey Bosa could make the Titans one of the best defensive lines in football. The Titans general manager is trying to take the best player available approach and that could definitely be Bosa. The thing the Titans will need to figure out is how much punishment can this line currently save Marcus Mariota, the current answer is not a whole lot.

Mariota will be to be one of the most sacked quarterbacks for the second year in a row if the Titans do not shore up this offensive line.

Another issue would be run blocking; how could the Titans find a capable running back behind a leaky offensive line? Unless the Titans decide to pick up a couple of free agent run blockers I do not see them making any headway into fortifying this offensive line. If the Titans draft Bosa there will be an emphasis on defense for next season.

Titans fans will likely be delighted with whatever top five prospect the Titans pick up, as it will be a sure sign that one day soon this team will be back in playoff contention. The Titans can either choose protect Mariota or take the best pass rusher in the draft.
