The 2016 NFL draft evaluation process is starting to ramp up after the Senior Bowl and players like Carson Wentz, Joey Bosa, Jared Goff, Laquon Treadwell, Jalen Ramsey and Ronnie Stanley could be some of the top targets for teams in the first round.

The Tennessee Titans are on the clock with the first overall pick, while the Cleveland Browns, San Diego Chargers, Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars round out the top five. The draft class for 2016 is considered a deep one and a top heavy one by most NFL scouts and there are a number of different ways things could play out over the top five picks. The Titans may consider trading down to help add more talent to the roster, but as things stand now, the team does not appear to be shopping the top selection.

The Titans do not need a quarterback after taking Marcus Mariota in the draft last year and that could lead the team to take someone like Jalen Ramsey, Laremy Tunsil or Joey Bosa with the top pick. Mel Kiper has the team going after Bosa with the number one overall pick in his first mock draft, while SB Nation's latest mock has Tunsil going number one. Kiper writes that "getting the best defensive lineman in any draft really transcends need" and Bosa fits the bill for that after putting up 50 tackles for loss at Ohio State.

The Titans have needs all over the roster and could consider Bosa, while many see Tunsil as the top offensive lineman. Mariota played behind a weak offensive line last season and adding Tunsil would automatically upgrade the line for the Titans. The Browns pick at number two and most people around the NFL think that the team will go after a quarterback. The team met with Carson Wentz at the Senior Bowl and came away impressed, while many scouts and early mock drafts have the Browns going after Goff.

Kiper and other draft experts have Goff rated as the best quarterback in the class and that could lead to his pick for Cleveland. Goff has the measurables to be a top pick and he comes in after putting up strong numbers at call with over 4700 passing yards and 43 touchdowns last season. Mike Mayock at NFL Media has the Browns, Chargers and Cowboys all potentially interested in drafting quarterbacks in the top five and that could shake things up at the top of the draft.

Mayock said that the Cowboys likely will consider finding a future replacement for Tony Romo, while teams like the Eagles, Texans and Chargers also could look at taking quarterbacks in the first round. Wentz has been generating some buzz among NFL scouts and according to reports, he performed well during practices leading up to the Senior Bowl game last week. NFL Media analyst Daniel Jeremiah has the Cowboys looking at Wentz at number four and has Wentz rated higher than Goff and Paxton Lynch among the QB class.
