The Los Angeles Rams have a number of personnel concerns as they move to the west coast for 2016, as players like Nick Fairley, Janoris Jenkins, Mark Barron and Greg Zuerlein are hitting free agency. LA is also expected to address the quarterback position this offseason and players like Carson Wentz, Paxton Lynch and Connor Cook could be potential targets in the NFL draft.

The Rams did not get much out of Nick Foles or Case Keenum last season and that could lead the team to add someone in free agency or the draft at the quarterback position. The team has a franchise player at running back in Todd Gurley and Jeff Fisher may want to find someone to pair with him as the Rams move to Los Angeles. A report from Adam Schefter at ESPN had the Eagles considering bringing back Nick Foles after trading him last year, but the Philadelphia Daily News later came out to refute that report.

Even if that report is not accurate, there is a chance the Rams will make a move with Foles this offseason. Bob Condotta at the Seattle Times writes that there has "been plenty of speculation" that the Rams will consider the "trade or release" of Foles this offseason. Foles was a major disappointment while throwing for seven touchdowns and 10 interceptions last season in 11 games, which led to Fisher putting Keenum in as the starter. Keenum is coming into the offseason as the starter for the Rams and that could mean the team does not have Foles in their plans for the long term.

Condotta writes that the Rams may look at the draft as a way to upgrade at the position, as the team could target players like Paxton Lynch or Carson Wentz in the first round. The team picks at number 15 and Mel Kiper at ESPN has the Rams going after Lynch with that pick. Wentz is generating some interest and could be gone in the top 10, which could lead the team to target Lynch or Connor Cook. The Rams likely will want a franchise QB moving forward and Keenum does not appear to be that at this point in his career.

The Rams have free agent concerns as they head into the offseason, as players like Nick Fairley, William Hayes, Rodney McLeod, Trumaine Johnson, Janoris Jenkins, Mark Barron and Greg Zuerlein are hitting the market. Zuerlein is likely to return and the Rams also may focus on keeping Fairley, Jenkins and Johnson. The Rams defense has been a strong unit over the past couple years and while Jenkins has been inconsistent, he has shown some major flashes of greatness and could get another contract from the team.
