Sam Bradford is the top free agent quarterback on the market this offseason and teams like the Cleveland Browns, NY Jets, San Francisco 49ers and Houston Texans could target Bradford if he does not sign a new contract with the Philadelphia Eagles.

Players like Kirk Cousins, Ryan Fitzpatrick and Brock Osweiler arte also set to hit the market, but those quarterbacks are expected to stay with their current teams. Bradford may end up staying with the Eagles, but as things stand now, there is a chance that he ends up leaving in free agency. According to ESPN reporter Phil Sheridan, the Eagles potentially could let Bradford walk in free agency "if they're convinced they can get a legit quarterback in the draft."

The Eagles may consider taking a quarterback even if Bradford returns, as head coach Doug Pederson is taking over for Chip Kelly and may want to develop someone for the future. Pederson spoke about the situation to the Philly Voice and said that the team could "possibly" add a "young quarterback" this offseason. The team likely will have the chance to take a quarterback at number 13 in the draft, as players like Connor Cook, Paxton Lynch and Carson Wentz potentially could be available.

Bradford is still relatively young, but he may ask for a pretty expensive contract and the Eagles may not want to re-up with Bradford for as much as he asks for. ESPN reported earlier in the season that Bradford was looking for $25 million per season on a contract extension, but the sides did not come close to making a deal. Bradford had a solid season with the Eagles, throwing for 19 touchdowns and 14 interceptions while completing 65 percent of his passes.

Pro Football Focus put together a list of the best options for Bradford for next season, with the San Francisco 49ers, Philadelphia Eagles, Houston Texans, Cleveland Browns and Jets listed as potential landing spots. The Browns are preparing to move on from Johnny Manziel this offseason and could be an option, while the 49ers may consider moving on from Colin Kaepernick. The Jets have Ryan Fitzpatrick on the free agent market and they could consider Bradford an upgrade at the position.

The Texans had to use four different starting quarterbacks last season and they could target Bradford as an option to come in and add some stability. Bradford may find it appealing to throw the ball to DeAndre Hopkins, as he has emerged as one of the best receivers in the league. Bradford is likely at least going to engage in talks with the Eagles this offseason, but there is a chance he doesn't return.
