The Tennessee Titans need to focus on upgrading their offensive potency in the offseason.

This means signing better pass and run blockers, wide receivers, and running backs. Currently the Titans have a ton of money to spend on free agency however as they add potential pro bowl players they need to be aware of how many dollars they allocate to each player. Brian Orakpo was largely thought to be a depth player for the Titans however he proved himself by recording 7 sacks in just one season with the Titans.

In fact in 2015 Orakpo played and started in all 16 games, he recorded 51 combined tackles, 5 pass defenses, a forced fumble and of course the boatload of sacks. Orakpo actually spent most of his career with the Washington Redskins.  Whether or not the Titans want to keep Orakpo largely assumes they are not going to chase a bigger name that is out there in free agency.

The Titans should be ready to make some huge offers to some star talent if at all possible. Orakpo is almost 30 and has a cap hit of $9 million so it would almost behoove the Titans to allow him to hit free agency as Orakpo will likely begin to decline soon.
