The NFL draft class for 2016 is considered to be a talented one by many scouts and players like Jared Goff, Carson Wentz, Derrick Henry, Ezekiel Elliott and Laquon Treadwell are the top rated players at their respective positions.

The quarterback position is one that is getting a lot of attention for this draft, as a number of teams over the first 15 picks may be looking for new starters next season. The Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers, Los Angeles Rams and Philadelphia Eagles all could consider taking quarterbacks, while the Houston Texans are also an option in the late first round of the draft. Carson Wentz has been getting a lot of buzz after his performance at the Senior Bowl, while Jared Goff is coming into the draft process as a highly-touted prospect.

Here is a look at some of the top players at the main offensive positions in the draft:

Quarterback:

Jared Goff, California: Goff came out of the college football season as the top prospect at the position after throwing for 4719 yards and 43 touchdowns with just 13 interceptions with the Golden Bears. Goff is 6-foot-4, 210 pounds and has above average arm strength and he also is a very accurate quarterback, something that could give him a leg up when teams start picking apart prospects at the combine. Goff has received a lot of hype and he will have to perform well during interviews and workouts to live up to that hype.

Carson Wentz, North Dakota State: Speaking of hype, Wentz has started to generate some serious hype from NFL scouts coming out of the Senior Bowl. While Goff is considered a top prospect, some scouts are now looking at Wentz as the number one QB in the draft. At 6-foot-6, 235 pounds, Wentz has ideal size to be an NFL QB and while he played in the FCS and dealt with injuries, some scouts think that he could be the best player among this group of quarterbacks. Last season Wentz had 1,669 yards with 16 touchdowns while missing part of the season with an injury and he had 45 touchdowns in 42 career games at North Dakota.

Running back:

Ezekiel Elliott, Ohio State: Elliott is considered by some scouts to be the best back in this draft class after the junior put up 1821 yards and 23 touchdowns for the Buckeyes last season. Elliott is considered to be an above average blocker and that could help him get picked in the first round of the draft. Elliott could be a three-down back in the NFL.

Derrick Henry, Alabama: Henry won the Heisman last season while rushing for 2,061 yards with 25 touchdowns and he also averaged nearly six yards per carry for Alabama. Henry's size could make him a bruising back in the NFL and he also could be a three-down player in the pros. Henry has good speed for his size and that could get some scouts very excited about his prospects in the NFL.

Wide receiver:

Laquon Treadwell, Ole Miss: Treadwell came back from a devastating injury to have a strong season in 2015 with 82 receptions for 1,153 yards and 11 touchdowns for Ole Miss. Treadwell has the chance to be the first wide receiver off the board in the draft and he has explosive skills that could make him a dangerous deep threat in the NFL. Treadwell is considered a strong blocker and that could help make him a top 10 pick this year.
