The Cincinnati Bengals will likely have to choose between Marvin Jones or Mohamed Sanu to re-sign as free agency looms on the horizon.

Jones has been injury prone since joining the Bengals however he was expected to compliment AJ Green for most of his career. Sanu became a bigger factor in this offense a couple of seasons ago when AJ Green went down with an injury that forced Sanu to become the main target for a large portion of the season.

Both players have shown their worth to this franchise so picking only one to resign will be difficult. Sanu has been more involved in the offense and is less of an injury risk and Jones will likely ask for a contract that is too big for the Bengals to pursue. The New England Patriots could be extremely interested in Jones as his route running abilities would fit perfectly with the New England passing game.

After a season that saw injuries to the most productive Patriots wide receivers there will be a renewed focus on finding talent at the wide receiver position. The poor play of Brandon LaFell and the injuries to Gronkowski, Amendola, and Edelman will only solidify the Patriots need for a few more playmakers on offense.
