The NFL Players Association has filed a lawsuit against the NFL on behalf of three players suspended in connection with the league’s bounty investigation."

The NFL appears to be taking the Al Jazeera America report that implicated Peyton Manning along with various other athletes in HGH use or possession very seriously.

The league is reportedly reviewing all of the facts in an incredibly comprehensive manner and is obtaining all the records involved. They are also conducting multiple interviews and working with other agencies to help figure out what exactly that report was about. The NFL also stated they were working with Major League Baseball and the USADA.

The reports were thrown out as absolutely ludicrous however the NFL received some flak for not going after Peyton the way they went after Brady for Deflategate. Since Peyton is playing in the Super Bowl, the review of all of the materials in question will not be completed before the Super Bowl. Not only has Manning denied ever using HGH but even his agent Tom Condon has denied these claims as well.

The one issue that has become a pretty consistent question is did Peyton's wife receive HGH or any banned performance enhancing substances and if she did, why? Obviously a person's medical history is their personal business however when you're a legendary figure like Peyton Manning you should expect to be under such a large microscope. Manning expressed his thoughts as the report was released...

"Between being angry, furious, disgusted is how I really feel, sickened, I'm not sure I understand how someone can make something up about somebody. ... And yet somehow it's published in a story. I don't understand that. Maybe you can explain that to me? So it's completely fabricated, complete trash, garbage -- there's more adjectives I'd like to be able to use. It really makes me sick. It makes me sick that it brings (my wife) Ashley into it, her medical history, her medical privacy being violated. That makes me sick. I don't understand that."
