The former Baltimore Ravens running back will be on Mike Martz's coaching staff for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl. It appears he will be a co-running backs coach with former Kansas City Chiefs running back Priest Holmes.

It is definetly an interesting selection as Rice was chosen to help mold young minds as they try to make an impact on the field before the 2016 NFL Draft. The Collegiate Bowl itself is only for draft-eligible players so there is a good chance most of the players in this game make it to the NFL.

Ray Rice has been talking to young players about not making the same mistakes he did and to be more aware of who they are and the situations they are in. Rice appears he is doing everything in his power to change the NFL's perspective of him but that might be the easiest thing he can change, it is the public's perception of him that is currently keeping him unemployed.

No NFL team will even look to bring Rice in for a workout largely due to the fact that this would bring a firestorm of pitchforks and angry fans to any franchise. Rice will continue to try to repair his image one step at a time.
