Marshawn Lynch might have just played his final game with the Seattle Seahawks. Lynch was bottled up by a ferocious Carolina Panthers defense holding him to only 6 rushing attempts, 20 yards, and 2 receptions for 15 yards.

Lynch is likely entering the last 2 seasons of his storied career and would like to go out with a bang, unfortunately for him the Seahawks have likely found a new bell cow in the 22 year old Thomas Rawls. The Seahawks offense shifted into a completely different gear with Rawls and it looked like he could carry the Seahawks to the playoffs, unfortunately for Rawls he suffered a broken ankle and several torn ligaments which ended his season in week 14.

The Seahawks did not see the same production from Lynch this season and it could be a sign that he declining. A key for the Seahawks is controlling the pace of football games with a dynamic ground game. When that doesn't happen all of the offensive production falls on the shoulders of Russell Wilson. The Seahawks will have to make a huge decision as they can save $16.5 million dollars over the next two years if they release Lynch, ($6,500,000 in 2016 and $10,000,000 in 2017).

This ultimately assures his departure as the Seahawks will need to resign some of their own free agents as well as fill some holes on their roster.

Lynch could potentially end up in several places most of them closer to his home state of California. If Lynch hits the open market the 49ers, Raiders, and even the Rams would likely have some interest in Beast Mode. Another option could be the Dallas Cowboys as they look to add some depth at their running back position.
