Marshawn Lynch has been dealing with injuries for the last month however for the last week Lynch was seen practicing in full for the Seahawks Wildcard matchup with the Minnesota Vikings.
Lynch apparently informed the coaching staff he was unable to play an hour before the team flight to Minnesota. There have been reports of ongoing tension with the Seahawks and Lynch since he signed a three year deal last March. Lynch has always been critical of the Seahawks front office and seems too especially to be displeased with the need for constant media coverage.
Lynch has skipped media events in the past and the NFL has fined him for it however this seems to be more of an internal situation. If Lynch is healthy enough to practice in full after the abdominal injury then there is something else keeping the superstar running back from joining his teammates on the field.
After the Seahawks shocking victory in Minnesota Pete Carroll blankly stated he didn't know if Lynch would be able to go against Carolina. Lynch may have not felt as if he was fully 100 percent however the Seahawks are going to need all the help they can get going up against the Carolina Panthers.
