There is a definite possibility that Johnny Manziel could be looking for a new home in 2016. Nothing has been determined as the Cleveland Browns keep their focus on the search for the new head coach, but once that is taken care of all eyes are expected to shift to the quarterback position and whether or not Manziel fits the picture. With many NFL experts expecting the quarterback gone in the offseason, are the Dallas Cowboys a realistic landing spot.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones stirred the pot once again when speaking about the backup quarterback situation with the franchise. According to Todd Archer of ESPN, the owner is a fan of Manziel's which came into focus once again when Jones said he would be willing to take a risky pick to develop behind Tony Romo. Of course everyone drew the conclusion that he was referring to Manziel who played his college ball in the state of Texas.

"On the other hand, what would enhance me taking risk is a bigger upside. And if that upside is there, that old risk-reward situation, then, yeah. This is as far as we're going to go here now with this because I don't want to get involved in any type of tampering situation. We'd take some risks," Jones said, via ESPN.com.

ESPN's Trent Dilfer weighed in on the idea that Manziel could be headed to the Cowboys and noted that he did not believe it was a good idea. With limited playing time, it is unclear what Manziel's ceiling is in the NFL, but he is not helping himself out with all of the off-the-field issues clouding him. The Cowboys would be better off selecting someone from the draft and so would the Browns.

With the No.2 pick in the NFL Draft, the Browns could easily make a move for a top quarterback, cut ties with Manziel and develop someone for the future. With Josh McCown set to return in 2016, the Browns have flexibility at the position. They do not necessarily need to draft someone who can start Week 1. That role could be occupied by McCown while the rookie improves. That could better set them up for success down the road.

Browns' owner Jimmy Haslam is not offering up much when it comes to the future of Manziel. When speaking with the media, Haslam said everything would be evaluated when a new head coach is in place. Until then, Manziel and the Browns remain in limbo.
