The pro bowl fullback/running back has been suspended by the NFL for violating the NFL policy on using performance enhancing substances.

Reece will be suspended for 4 regular season games without pay. This suspension will carry into 2016 which means he will miss the first three games of that season as well. Reece can practice in the offseason and participate in preseason games however he will be ineligible to play in the Pro Bowl. Reece is 30 years old and is due $2.6 million at the beginning of next season.

With Backup Jamize Olawale already stealing playing time from Reece this could be the last time Reece wears the silver and black.

Reece had 10 carries for 36 yards, 30 catches for 269 yards along with 3 touchdowns. Reece is only second to Kyle Juszczyk as the most productive full back in the NFL. Reece has already earned 3 Pro Bowl trips before he was selected to his fourth so his body will likely thank him for staying away from extra time on the field. Reece played in a quarter of offensive snaps during the 2015 season so as it stands the loss of the fullback may not be a major change.

Expect the Raiders to consider releasing their long time fullback for a younger, cheaper option.
