The Pro Bowl 2016 rosters were announced this week and the Carolina Panthers had the most players selected to the team, including Cam Newton, Josh Norman, Thomas Davis, Greg Olsen and Jonathan Stewart.

The Pro Bowl will be on January 31 from Aloha Stadium in Hawaii and the teams will be selected from the pool of players by captains Jerry Rice and Michael Irvin. The other teams that had the most players selected were the Seahawks, Cardinals and Patriots with seven each, while the Bengals had five players selected to the team.

Tom Brady made it into the game for the 11th time in his career, while the other quarterbacks named were Newton, Carson Palmer, Aaron Rodgers, Ben Roethlisberger and Russell Wilson. The wide receivers in the game include Odell Beckham, AJ Green, Larry Fitzgerald, DeAndre Hopkins, Calvin Johnson, Julio Jones and Brandon Marshall.

The tight end group is an accomplished one with Rob Gronkowski, Tyler Eifert, Travis Kelce and Greg Olsen, while the RB group is headlined by Adrian Peterson and Stewart. LeSean McCoy, Todd Gurley, Devonta Freeman and Doug Martin are the other running backs on the roster. Beckham and Josh Norman made the roster after they battled on Sunday and those two could end up as teammates depending on how the teams are picked.

Raiders safety Charles Woodson is retiring after the season and he was picked to another Pro Bowl, while Eric Berry and Kam Chancellor were the other strong safeties picked. Some of the other defensive backs selected include Earl Thomas, Richard Sherman, Patrick Peterson, Chris Harris and Malcolm Butler. The Seahawks defense was well-represented, while players like Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware were named from the Broncos.
