Washington Redskins free safety Dashon Goldson (38) and Washington Redskins linebacker Mason Foster (54) tackle Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy (25) who suffered an injury on the play in the third quarter at FedEx field on December 20, 2015 in Landover, MD. "

The NFL injury report heading into Week 16 has updates for players like LeSean McCoy, Marshawn Lynch, TJ Yeldon, Andy Dalton, Jonathan Stewart, Julian Edelman, Danny Amendola, Tyler Eifert and Carson Palmer.

The Seattle Seahawks are hoping that Marshawn Lynch cam come back soon, but head coach Pete Carroll said that Lynch will likely not be back for Week 16. According to Bob Condotta at the Seattle Times, Lynch will not be practicing this week with the Seahawks. Lynch continues to recover from surgery and while the team hopes he can return for the playoffs and now that the team has clinched, rushing him back is not necessary after the RB had surgery for an abdominal injury.

The Seahawks would love to have Lynch back for the end of the regular season after losing Thomas Rawls to an injury, but Christine Michael and Bryce Brown can handle the load until he is able to come back. Condotta writes that Week 17 is the "earliest" that Lynch could come back, although there is no set timetable for his return.

The Jaguars played last week without TJ Yeldon and heading into Week 16 the running back "continues to progress," according to Vito Stellino on Twitter. Stellino writes that Yeldon will remain on the injury report this week with a knee issue, but there is a chance that he could play after being unable to practice last week. If Yeldon is out, Denard Robinson likely will get the start again.

The Patriots continue to deal with injuries this season with LeGarrette Blount and Dion Lewis already done for the year and now Danny Amendola could be out until the playoffs, according to NFL.com. The Patriots have clinched the AFC East and are in position for the top seed, so the injury is not as major of a concern now, but the team will need Amendola back for the postseason. Amendola is reportedly dealing with a knee sprain and NFL.com reports that the injury "won't cause him to miss playoff time."

The Patriots also have Julian Edelman working his way back from foot surgery and he has started practicing with the team. According to NFL.com, Edelman is not likely to return for Week 16, but he could be back for Week 17 to get "acclimated" heading into the playoffs. Edelman has been out since the game against the Giants and the team may want to give him some reps to get back to game speed for the playoffs.

LeSean McCoy had to leave the game for the Bills on Sunday with a knee injury and is reportedly dealing with a torn MCL, according to Adam Schefter at ESPN. McCoy is considered "week to week" for now and he could be out or limited for the Bills in Week 16. The team used Karlos Williams and Mike Gillislee in place of McCoy when he left the game on Sunday and those two could share carries this week for Buffalo if McCoy can't go.

Quick hits: Tyler Eifert remains in the concussion protocol for the Bengals and could be out again this week. Jonathan Stewart did not practice on Tuesday and could be held out for the undefeated Panthers. André Dalton remains sidelined with a finger injury, but he is expected to be able to return for the playoffs. Palmer injured his finger in the Sunday night game against the Eagles, but the issue was minor and he only had to leave the game momentarily for the Cardinals.
