Ellie Day wife of Golfer Jason Day was injured while sitting courtside on the play. The Cavaliers defeated the Thunder 104-100. "

The Cleveland Cavaliers are expecting to get Kyrie Irving back next week after the point guard did not end up making his season debut against the Thunder. LeBron James had a scary moment in the win against OKC, as he crashed into golfer Jason Day's wife while going after a loose ball into the stands.

The Cavaliers are expecting to get Irving back over the next week after reports came out that he was set to return against the Thunder on Thursday. Irving took to Twitter to shoot down those reports and there is a chance he could return to play against the Sixers on December 20. The team has a game against the Warriors on Christmas Day and Irving would be in line to play if he returns against Philadelphia. The Cavaliers have been cautious in bringing back Irving, as they do not want him to suffer any setbacks with his knee.

Irving had knee surgery after being injured in the NBA finals and he reportedly has been healthy enough to return for the past week, but the Cavaliers are being patient in bringing him back. Iman Shumpert just returned for the team after having wrist surgery, but he ended up getting injured again with a groin issue and sat out on Thursday night. Chris Haynes at Cleveland.com reports that Irving is likely to make his debut against the Sixers, as the team wants to "ease" him back into the rotation after being out for so long.

The Cavaliers won against the Thunder on Thursday night in a nice test for Cleveland against one of the top teams in the west. The Cavs won 104-100 and made a comeback after being down and the team got 33 points, nine rebounds and 11 assists from LeBron James to lead the victory. James had a scary moment in the game, as he crashed into the stands while going after a loose ball and hit the wife of PGA golfer Jason Day, who was sitting courtside.

According to ESPN.com, Ellie Day was taken to the hospital and suffered concussion symptoms from the crash from James. Day's agent released a statement that Day was out of the hospital on Friday and that "Ellie Day had no hard feelings toward James, quoting her as saying, 'He was just doing his job. Go Cavs.''" James came over to Day after the crash while play was stopped and after the game he was concerned for Day and that on the play he was simply "trying to keep the possession going, and I hate that that was the end result of it."
