The Houston Texans have Brian Hoyer dealing with a concussion and he could be out for Week 15, which would put TJ Yates into the starting lineup. JJ Watt comes in after playing with a broken hand, while Chris Polk could be a solid fantasy option after Alfred Blue was limited last week.

Hoyer suffered a concussion and a strained neck on Sunday night football against the Patriots and now he could be out of action for the Texans in Week 15. According to Ed Werder at ESPN, Hoyer is "concerned" about his concussion, which was the second one he suffered in the last month and he is expected "to be out for a while" with the injury. Hoyer could be done for the season if the Texans don't make the playoffs and that would leave Yates to start for the team.

Hoyer has been solid for the Texans this season when healthy, as he has thrown for 18 touchdowns and six interceptions, but now it looks like he could be done for the season. The Texans are still alive for the playoffs, but their wild card chances took a hit with the loss to the Patriots. The team has a chance to take control of the AFC South, as the team is tied at 6-7 with the Indianapolis Colts after Indy lost against the Jaguars.

The way things are shaping up into Week 15, it looks like it will be backup against backup, as Matt Hasselbeck or Charlie Whitehurst could start for the Colts with Andrew Luck still injured. The Texans had JJ Watt dealing with an injury against the Patriots, but the defense end was able to play despite a broken hand suffered in practice last week. Watt said to the Houston Chronicle that "you make do with what you got" and that he should be fine to play again this week against the Colts.

Watt has 13.5 sacks this season and while the cast on his hand hampered him a bit against the Patriots, the Texans defense is better off with him on the field than off, even if it's not at 100 percent. Alfred Blue came into the game on Sunday night with a back injury and while he was active, he did not have a carry and did not play any snaps. Chris Polk took over for Blue and he is a solid fantasy option for teams in desperate need of a free agent after players like Thomas Rawls and Mark Ingram went down. Polk started and had 34 yards for the Texans and he could be in line for more work against the Colts this week.
