The NBA injury report has names like Bradley Beal, Klay Thompson, Harrison Barnes, Tyson Chandler, Markieff Morris, Jonas Valanciunas, Deron Williams, Marcus Smart, Kyrie Irving and Jordan Clarkson dealing with some bangs and bruises heading into the week. Thompson was able to return from an ankle issue, while Beal could be out for an extended period for the Wizards.

Klay Thompson suffered an ankle injury against the Indiana Pacers last week, but he was able to return to play against the Milwaukee Bucks. The game against the Bucks turned out to be the first loss for the Warriors all season and Thompson had 12 points in his return for the team. Thompson did not look quite 100 percent, but he was able to play 30 minutes and now the Warriors are 24-1 after opening the season undefeated through 24 games.

Bradley Beal is dealing with a leg injury for the Wizards and according to the Washington Post, Beal will be out at least two weeks with the injury. Beal reportedly has a stress reaction in his lower right leg and when he returns for the Wizards he likely will have a minutes restriction on his playing time. Beal has had issues with the leg in the past and now he will be out for at least two weeks and then will be re-evaluated for the injury. The Post reports that there is a chance that Beal could be out until January with the injury.

Marcus Smart has been out for the Celtics for a stretch with a leg injury and there is chance he could return over the next two weeks. Scott Souza reports that there is no timetable for Smart to return and he also does not have a timetable for starting up basketball activities. Souza reports that Smart will be re-evaluated next week and that could give the team a better idea of when Smart will be able to return.

Harris Barnes continues to be sidelined for the Warriors and he will not be playing this week and will be re-evaluated at the end of the week, according to Rusty Simmons at the San Francisco Chronicle. Barnes has been dealing with an ankle injury and while he has been able to do some workouts in practice, he is not yet ready to return for the Warriors.

Markieff Morris has been mentioned in trade rumors as of late and on Sunday he had a "did not play-coaches decision" for the game. Morris head an "illness" last week and missed two games and part of all this could be the trade talk. Tyson Chandler had been dealing with a hamstring injury, but he was able to return and played 23 minutes off the bench for Phoenix.

Jonas Valanciunas has been working his way back from a hand injury and according to the Toronto Sun, Valanciunas is still dealing with some pain in his finger. Valanciunas has been rehabbing over surgery and was originally expected to be back within six weeks. Deron Williams was dealing with an illness for the Mavericks, but he is expected to play on Monday against the Suns.
