Atlanta Falcons

Julio Jones (Wide Receiver): The Atlanta Falcons had absolutely nothing left to give in this game. Their offense just did not show up for this competition. Jones was one of the few players who actually had any fantasy relevance in fantasy football. Jones finished the game catching 7 of his 10 targets for 88 yards. Jones has not scored a touchdown since week 8.

Devonta Freeman (Running Back): Freeman was the other Atlanta Falcons player who could produce a few fantasy points on a day in which this team looked just plain awful. Freeman has 12 rushing attempts for 40 yards and caught 3 targets for 22 yards. Freeman also could not find his way into the end zone and ended up losing a fumble before this game was over. It will be tough to trust any Atlanta players in the fantasy football playoffs.

Carolina Panthers

Cam Newton (Quarterback): Newton had another ridiculous game. The Panthers were so good Ron Rivera benched Cam Newton in the third quarter because the game had been turned into a rout. Even Newton's backup Derek Anderson looked comfortable flinging balls all over the field against the Falcons. Newton finished week 14 with 265 passing yards, 3 touchdowns, 3 carries that gained 4 yards, and he completed 15 of his 21 passing attempts.

Jonathan Stewart (Running Back): Stewart was knocked out of this game with a minor foot injury, and with the Panthers holding a commanding lead the coaching staff thought it was best to let Stewart recover. Stewart had a pretty solid day before the injury racking up 75 yards on 10 rushing attempts, and he caught his only target for 14 yards.

Greg Olsen (Tight End): Olsen looked as if he suffered a major injury towards the end of the third quarter. Olsen went down clutching at his knee which led many to believe he had suffered the dreaded ACL tear however after several minutes he was able to get up and walk off the field under his own power. The Panthers believe the injury to be a minor knee sprain. Before Olsen was injured he had caught 3 of his 4 targets for 52 yards.
