The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers are playing on the NBA schedule on Thursday night and the rivalry will pick up from Staples Center at 10:30 pm ET. The TV coverage is on TNT and the matchup has two of the best teams in the west going at it with Stephen Curry and Blake Griffin ready to battle with the Warriors undefeated at 12-0.

The Warriors have not lost a game this season and the Clippers would love nothing more than to be the team that gives them their first loss. This has turned into one of the best rivalries in basketball and the Clips come into the game with Chris Paul and JJ Redick unlikely to play. It will be tough for the Clippers to cut down the Warriors without those two players, but the team has played much better at home than on the road this season, going 5-1. Wait update, Chris Paul is playing, according to Doc Rivers.

The Warriors look like they are ready to win another championship and they are trying to match the 14-0 start by the Mavericks from back in 2002 as the last teams to open with that many wins. Stephen Curry has continued his strong performance from last season and he is leading the league in scoring with 33 points per game. Blake Griffin has been averaging 26 points per game this season and he will be happy to have Paul back in the lineup.

The Warriors and Clippers have already played against each other this season and Golden State won that by four after making a comeback in that matchup. The Clippers would love to end the winning streak for the Warriors after the tough game last time and the team will likely start Jamal Crawford, Griffin, Lance Stephenson, DeAndre Jordan and Paul.

The Clippers made a number of additions this offseason and the team is pushing to win a title and that means likely beating a team like the Warriors. The two have played some great games in the past and this could be another exciting chapter in the recent rivalry. The Warriors come in after winning by five against the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday and the team won with another strong fourth quarter performance.
