Denver Broncos
Peyton Manning (Quarterback): Manning looked pretty bad in the early stages of this game as the Broncos were unable to establish a running game. Manning completed 21 of his 36 passing attempts for 281 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also threw 2 interceptions and ended up finishing the game 3 yards away from a career record.
Demaryius Thomas/Emmanuel Sanders (Wide Receivers): Thomas had a quiet day until finally getting open in the third quarter. He only caught 5 of 7 targets for 50 yards. Thomas should be a better option in week 10. Sanders exploded late in the game for a monstrous touchdown. He would end the game catching 6 of his 11 targets for 90 yards and a touchdown.
Ronnie Hillman/C.J. Anderson (Running Back): Hillman was an absolute non-factor in this game. He had 7 carries but only gained a yard. C.J. Anderson did not have much more success as he had 7 carries as well but gained 34 yards. He also caught 1 out of his 2 targets for 4 yards.
Indianapolis Colts
Andrew Luck (Quarterback): Luck looked better than he has all year as he stayed interception free. Luck completed the same amount of passes as Peyton, 21 for 36 however his 2 touchdowns came without interceptions. Luck gained 252 yards through the air but also ran the ball 6 times for 34 yards. It was pretty obvious to everyone watching that the Colts wanted to win this game a lot more.
TY Hilton/Donte Moncrief (Wide Receivers): Hilton was thought to be out for this game however he got onto the field under 100 percent and produced like a pro bowler. Hilton caught 5 of 6 targets for 82 yards. Hilton's ankle does not look like a factor after that game. Moncrief was shut out of this offense predominantly. He only caught 3 of 4 targets for 30 yards.
Frank Gore (Running Back): Gore had a pretty solid day on what was assumed to be the best defense in the NFL. Gore racked up 28 carries for 83 yards and a touchdown. Gore's increased workload has propelled him into the RB1 conversation.
