The Denver Broncos lost to the Colts to fall to 7-1 after being undefeated and those teams are among the division leaders in the league heading into the Week 10 schedule.

The Patriots won over the Redskins on Sunday 27-10 and they are leading the AFC East over the Jets, Bills and Dolphins. The Packers lost their second straight game with a defeat against the Carolina Panthers and now Cam Newton and his team are 8-0 heading into next week. The Titans won over the Saints in overtime, the Dolphins lost to the Bears, while the Rams lost to the Vikings in overtime.

The Jaguars held close but lost to the Jets, while the Giants won to improve to 5-4 with a victory on the road against the Buccaneers. The Bears and Chargers play on Monday night, while the Bengals already won over the Browns on Thursday night in Week 9.

This is the first time that the league has had three teams at 8-0 and based on past statistics, the teams have a good chance to making it to the Super Bowl. According to Pro Football Talk, the 21 teams that have gone 8-0 during the modern era have made the playoffs and 12 of those teams have made it to the Super Bowl with eight winning the trophy. The Patriots of course won last year, while the Bengals and Panthers both made the playoffs last season. The Lions, Chiefs, Cardinals, Seahawks, Ravens and Texans had byes this week.

The Patriots are tops in the AFC East, while the Bengals have a nice lead over the 5-4 Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC North. The Ravens and Browns are in the bottom of that division, while the Colts are leading the Texans, Jaguars and Titans in the AFC South. The Broncos lead the AFC West over the Raiders, Chiefs and Chargers, while the Giants lead the Eagles, Redskins and Cowboys in the NFC East.

The Vikings and Packers are on top of the NFC North over the Bears and Lions, while the Panthers lead the Falcons, Saints and Bucs in the NFC South. The Arizona Cardinals are leading the St. Louis Rams, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers in the AFC West and the Cards will play against the Seahawks in Week 10.
