The Cavaliers have won three straight games and James comes in after scoring 22 points and adding 11 assists and nine rebounds in the game. James Jones had 12 points for the Cavaliers and he stepped in with Smith going down and he could get some extra playing time going forward. The Knicks are not yet considered a contender in the east, but many are coming around on the team with how they have played through four games. The Knicks look much better than they did last season and the additions of Robin Lopez, Kyle O'Quinn and Derrick Williams have made an impact. Arron Afflalo has been out with a hamstring injury and the team is hoping that he can come back this week, but it won't be for the Cavaliers game.

Kristaps Porzingis has been playing well as a rookie and he has been bringing energy up front and has been starting for the Knicks. Porzingis had 13 points and 14 rebounds to put up his first double-double as a Knick, but he also suffered a neck strain after bumping with Carmelo Anthony in the game against the Spurs. Porzingis is dealing with a neck strain and the injury is not considered a serious one.

Kevin Love has been playing well for the Cavs this season alongside James and the team has the Knicks next on the schedule before playing the Sixers again. The team has the Pacers and Jazz at home and then the team will go out on the road against the Knicks, Bucks and Pistons. The Knicks have the Bucks at home next and then will play the Lakers at MSG on Sunday before going on the road against the Raptors and Hornets.
