JPP has been out of action all season and is currently knocking on the door of his return. Paul was expected back for week 10 however that has changed thanks in a large part to his conditioning while he was injured.

While JPP's hand may look like it is in bad shape the Giants are confident in his ability to play sooner rather than later. Pierre Paul is getting a ton of practice reps especially at rushing the passer. If JPP can come back in time for Tampa Bay the Bucs may struggle in stopping the Giants best defensive player.

The Giants are dead last in passing yards allowed and yards allowed, which is not that promising for a team that is barely holding too the lead in the NFC East with a 4-4 record. The 9 sacks the Giants have allowed are one of the lowest totals in the league but the return of JPP hope to alleviate some of those pressure concerns.

The one thing that JPP will not be able to fix is this Giants secondary. The Giants have one of the most injury plagued defensive backfields in the NFL. Prince Amukamara should return either by week 9 or 10 to help stop opposing wide receivers. Getting both of these guys for the home stretch of the season is a must.
