The Chicago Bulls have started the season 2-0 and the team has Derrick Rose improving from his facial injury, as the point guard said his double vision is starting to go away. The Bulls have Joakim Noah coming off the bench for Fred Hoiberg and Noah came out to say that while it was not his idea, he wants to do what is best for the team.

Rose was able to open the season healthy after suffering a facial fracture in training camp and he is continuing to improve for the Bulls. According to KC Johnson of the Chicago Tribune, Rose said that his vision is getting better and that he is not worried about playing for the third time in four nights. The Bulls are playing the Pistons after winning over the Cavaliers and the Nets.

Rose had 15 points in the game against the Nets and he played 32 minutes in the season opener and has not been hampered by wearing a mask to protect his injury. Rose said that the double vision is getting better and head coach Fred Hoiberg said that he may limit Rose's minutes this week after playing the three game in four night stretch.

The Bulls have Joakim Noah coming off the bench to open the season and Nikola Mirotic has been inserted into the starting lineup. According to ESPN, Noah spoke about the situation and said that while it was not his ideas to come off the bench, he wants to do what is best for the team and what helps the team win. There was a bit of a back and forth about the bench move, as Fred Hoiberg spoke with Zach Lowe on Grantland and said that Noah started off the idea about coming off the bench.

Noah later said "no" when asked if he told Hoiberg he wanted to come off the bench, but he said that he wants to do "what's best for the team." Noah is coming into the season after a tough year that saw him deal with some injuries after coming back from knee surgery. Noah is about to finish a five-year, $60 million deal and he will be a free agent next summer.

Hoiberg spoke about how the situation came up with Noah, saying that Noah came to him and said that he liked playing with Taj Gibson. Noah may have been hinting that he thinks Gibson should start alongside him, but either way, Hoiberg said that he likes those two together and that is one reason why Noah is coming off the bench. Nikola Mirotic has played well alongside Gasol and so far the results have been good for the Bulls with two wins.
