The Arizona Cardinals could be without John Brown in Week 8 with an injury and that makes Larry Fitzgerald and Michael Floyd fantasy start options for Carson Palmer. The Cardinals have been running the ball well with Chris Johnson and Andre Ellington and those two players are solid start options at RB this week.

Brown is dealing with a hamstring issue and he played through injuries to both legs last week and could be held out in Week 8. According to Pro Football Talk, Brown did not practice on Wednesday and he also sat on Thursday. Reporter Darren Urban writes that Brown will "see how he feels on Sunday" and that he has not been officially ruled out yet. Brown will likely be hampered if he plays and fantasy owners should look at Michael Floyd or Larry Fitzgerald as options.

Brown showed last week that he can handle playing through an injury and if Brown is a game time decision and is held out, fantasy owners should be prepared with backup options. Brown has been playing very well this season and over the last three games he is averaging over 100 yards per contest and has two touchdowns. Brown gives the Cardinals a deep threat and an explosive option, but he has been playing injured and the Cardinals may want to get him healthy instead of pushing it again this week.

Brown has 37 catches this season for 562 yards and he has three touchdowns after scoring two in the past three weeks. Brown has had 18 combined catches in that span and over the last four games he has had at least 65 yards and four catches in each contest. Brown went for 10 catches and 196 yards against the Steelers and he has another solid matchup with the Browns.

Floyd is a WR3 option for the week and he has not done much this year with 16 catches for 213 yards and two touchdowns. Fitzgerald has been dynamite and is having a comeback season with 46 catches for 622 yards and six touchdowns. Fitzgerald has been one of the best WRs this season after he put up some disappointing numbers last year and he is a prime starter this week if Brown is out.

The Cardinals have a solid stable of running backs and while that can be tough for fantasy owners, Chris Johnson has emerged as the best option of the group. Johnson has 567 yards this season and he comes into the week after going for 122 yards against the Ravens. Johnson has remained the starter even after Andre Ellington returned from injury and that has given the team some solid depth. Ellington has 160 yards in four games and he is a low end option for fantasy owners this week.
